On the afternoon of June 17, sunlight streamed through the bright windows of the staff cafeteria. Long tables were fully laid out with fresh reed leaves, plump glutinous rice and carefully prepared fillings. ZQ Colleagues gathered one after another, put on disposable gloves, and our special Dragon Boat Festival celebration officially kicked off.

In the cafeteria, ZQ employees sat together in rows. Some were learning how to fold reed leaves, while others skillfully filled rice, folded leaves and tied strings. Faces that were usually buried in workstations were now lit up with relaxed smiles.
Several skilled staff members naturally took on the role of on-site instructors. They demonstrated and explained patiently: "Stack the leaves like this," "Loop the string around here before tying the knot." Rookies humbly asked for advice and gradually mastered the craft from fumbling beginners. Laughter and cheerful chatter filled the venue, creating a warm and harmonious atmosphere.
After an hour of hard work, fragrant reed leaves and plump glutinous rice were turned into neatly shaped, firm and plump zongzi by everyone’s deft hands. Colleagues happily showed off their handmade creations.
Three hours later, steaming hot zongzi were ready, releasing an inviting fragrance that lingered in the air. Employees tasted the zongzi they had wrapped themselves. The soft, sweet glutinous rice paired with savoury salted egg yolk and pork delivered rich layered flavours, leaving everyone looking satisfied and delighted.
This Dragon Boat Festival activity allowed ZQ employees to experience the fun of traditional folk customs and carry forward the essence of Dragon Boat Festival culture. Meanwhile, amid the joyful interaction, everyone got to chat about daily life, deepened mutual friendship and fostered a warm bond among colleagues.
